Bed & Breakfast

BK-Fabrics makes an installation which will function as a bed and breakfast.

The whole installation is based on two parts; An architectual skeleton/construction and a soft sculpture which is installed in this situation. The idea behind this work limps on two thoughts.

One that refers to this historical remains of a space as an exoskeleton and secondly a soft sculpture which as an epiphyte lives in his host, respecting it. You could say that these two reinforce, control and give content to each other.
This work refers to the history of the local architecture and the organic form-language from science-fiction used by Kramer.
In the eventually renewed and defined setting there will occur a world in which this work finds a place as naturally, and a functional sculpture arises within the landscape.
