The self proclaimed ‘garbage architect’ from Germany, Jan Korbes, makes creative use of found or rest materials. He operates on the borders of architecture, engineering, art and design. The origins for designs are found in the material itself, by listening to its own composition, history, or local and social context. Jan Korbes has been part of Cascoland since its first edition in Terschelling.
