Katharina Rohde
Katharina Rohde studied architecture in Cottbus, Germany, Caracas,Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela, and received her Master´s Degree in Advanced Architectural Design in 2004 in Glasgow, Scotland. After her studies she was a Fellow at the International Bauhaus Kolleg of the Foundation Bauhaus Dessau, Germany, and investigated on the topic „Transnational Spaces“ in Istanbul and Berlin. Since 2005 she is working as a freelance architect, artist and activist mainly in Berlin, Johannesburg and Caracas. In 2007 she founded urban lab_el association, an international and interdisciplinary platform for architecture, urban planning, Fashion, Art and Performance. Since 2008 Katharina Rohde is active „foreign corespondent“ for Büro Schwimmer and 1:1.
Currently Katharina Rohde is living and working in Berlin and Johannesburg.
